So, time for a little rant. I was drawing in the kitchen today and my brother decides to compare my drawing to Gollum (from LOTR) and tell me it's disturbing. I was drawing four boys, gathered together after training--they're knights, and one of them is a little underweight (its part of the story). I just...don't feel like I can ever draw anything around my house without being judged for it by everyone. I can't draw without being told that they don't look right, or something is weird, or it's wrong, etc. etc. etc. I just want to draw. Freely... Hello, A lot has happened in the past few months. I turned 18, got a job, sold my first cards...etc. etc. Starting with the job--I now work at a Marcus Movie Theatre, selling popcorn and movie tickets all day long. It's a blast, and money is nice too. I also opened an Etsy store with my sister, selling little cards. Mine have little dogs on them, and I'll post the pictures soon, hopefully. And I had my eighteenth birthday, so now I'm figuring out how to adult, which isn't exactly a blast... Hey everyone! Recently I decided to expand my artistic horizons jumping from the well trusted and tested beautiful security of a blank sheet of real paper and some tangible pencil and plunging into the great unknown which is Microsoft paint. I decided I would try to use it for more than simple drawings, despite my lack of materials. I've determined to beg and plead and whatever else it takes in order to finally get my hands on a nice tablet to draw on and maybe a pen so I don't have to use a touch pad...   Regardless, (enough ranting... )...
